Grand Wailea, Maui
This is what I woke up to this morning on the beautiful island of Maui. Actually, I woke up at 3:30 AM (Hawaii time) thanks to jet lag and saw nothing but random lights in the dark of night, but I eventually saw this around 7:00 AM.

Hawaii has been one of my family’s favorite winter destinations since I was 14. Whale season on the islands begins in November and my family visits almost every January to watch them swim in the bays. We get the biggest kick out of spotting whale breaths shooting out of the water a.k.a massive whale sneezes. And, yes, that is what we enjoy watching.
