I went to the Zoo yesterday. I figured it was time to bust out my inner child once again and visit the wild animals. I’m glad I did because I really had a great time.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Fort Worth Zoo, so that’s where we decided to go. It took us about an hour and 45 minutes to walk through all the exhibits. Some animals weren’t out in there habitats, but the main reason it went so fast was because there wasn’t a big crowd at all. Partly because it was pretty chilly outside, I’m assuming.
We saw lions, tigers, and bears! (Cliche!) But we also saw otters, California condors, and giraffes. It was really fun, and not too expensive of an experience. It only cost $12/ adult to get in.
You always hear about the animals, but you sometimes forget how they look like in person. Pictures just don’t do some of these creatures justice.
