So far, it’s been a lovely Sunday.
Mom has wanted to have our family photo taken by a professional photographer for a really long time. In April, my older sister and brother-in-law finally took a step towards making it happen when they gave my mom a photography package for her birthday.
Today, we actually fulfilled mom’s wish by getting our pictures taken. We took them out in our little neighborhood park which has a few ponds, a few swans and a swing bench. Romantic, right?
A family photo wouldn’t be complete without coordinating outfits. Luckily, we decided to match without “matching”. White and cobalt blue were the colors of choice, but like a modern-day wedding party, we were all allowed to pick what type of clothing we’d wear. Mom and older sis wore dresses, while twin sis and I were opposite colored jeans and blouses and Dad and brother-in-law wore white shirts and jeans. Let me tell you, we looked adorbs!
Here’s a quick re-cap of my weekend since I’ve been MIA for a few days:
Thursday: Flew into Houston to visit a friend. Then, drove to Beaumont to visit BF’s family.
Friday: Hung out in Beaumont with Bf.
Saturday: Drove to SA with BF and his parents to apartment hunt for his upcoming move to SA. We found him a beautiful apartment, and we can’t wait for him to move here in a couple of weeks!
Sunday: Family photo time!
I had a ton of fun, but like all weekends, it must come to an end. Sad times. Weekends are always way too short!
Happy Sunday, folks.
